8.8-magnitude earthquake hits central Chile
I think I have lost count now. I can’t comprehend that we just had another massive earthquake in the world. 2010 surely appears to be a year that is going to shake us, literally.
An 8.8-magnitude earthquake has struck Chile early Saturday. Tsuanmi warnings have now followed for quite a wide area: South America, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, Russia and many Pacific islands. It just goes to show how interconnected we are and how we really have to watch out one another.
